ВОЗ заявила, что переболевшие COVID-19 могут заразиться штаммом “омикрон”

Предварительные данные свидетельствуют о том, что у людей, ранее перенесших COVID-19, может быть повышенный риск заражения новым штаммом коронавируса “омикрон”, об этом сообщила Всемирная организация здравоохранения. 

В ВОЗ отметили, что более подробная информация будет доступна “в ближайшие дни и недели”. 

В организации подтвердили, что используемые в настоящий момент ПЦР-тесты способны выявлять инфицирование новым штаммом. 

Ранее ВОЗ подчеркнула, что “омикрон” недостаточно изучен, и пока рано делать выводы о том, что он может быть опаснее варианта “дельта”. При этом в ВОЗ напомнили, что вакцины имеют решающее значения для снижения смертности и тяжести переносимой болезни.
